Green Vein · Large-leaf variety
Processed exclusively from the large, fan-shaped leaves at the end of mature branches — the "elephant ear" leaves that give this cultivar its name. Slightly fuller flavour than a standard green, with a marginally elevated alkaloid density.
MOQ 25 kg · Samples up to 100g available · FOB Jakarta or DAP Rotterdam
Producer note
Elephant isn't a region or a vein — it's a leaf-size selection. We hand-sort the widest, flattest leaves from mature trees during every harvest, then process them through the same green drying protocol as our other greens. The result is a slightly deeper character and a marginally higher mitragynine yield.
Large-leaf selection limits supply — we produce Elephant batches in smaller lots and quote lead time accordingly. If you need a multi-month commitment, ask about reserved production.
For the end market
In catalogues, Green Elephant is usually sold as the "bigger, bolder" green — a step up from a standard green vein for customers who want more character without moving to a Maeng Da.
Works well as a premium SKU in a tiered green line (Bali → Green Vein → Elephant → Maeng Da). Private-label 50g or 100g pouches with matte finishes suit the positioning.
Quality assurance
We run each production batch through an independent Indonesian laboratory for heavy metals, microbiological contamination (TPC, yeast/mould, Salmonella, E. coli), and alkaloid quantification. The Certificate of Analysis ships with every order — digitally and in the crate.
Logistics
We handle export documentation, phytosanitary certificate, commercial invoice and packing list. Shipments leave from Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) to Rotterdam, Hamburg, or Antwerp with typical transit of 28–35 days sea, or 4–7 days air.
