Producer note
What "Elephant" actually means
Elephant isn't a region or a vein; it's a leaf-size selection. At each harvest, our farming partners set aside the widest, flattest leaves from mature trees; we then hand-sort that lot and run it through the same green drying protocol as our other greens. The result is a slightly deeper character and a marginally higher mitragynine yield.
Large-leaf selection limits supply, so we produce Elephant batches in smaller lots and quote lead time accordingly. If you need a multi-month commitment, ask about reserved production.
For the end market
How your customers position it
In catalogues, Green Elephant is usually sold as the "bigger, bolder" green, a step up from a standard green vein for customers who want more character without moving to a Maeng Da.
Works well as a premium SKU in a tiered green line (Bali → Green Vein → Elephant → Maeng Da). Private-label 50g or 100g pouches with matte finishes suit the positioning.
Quality assurance
Independent lab testing available
Each strain can be tested through an independent Indonesian laboratory for heavy metals, microbiological contamination (TPC, yeast/mould, Salmonella, E. coli), and alkaloid quantification. Ask us for the cost per lab test when placing your order.
