Red Vein · Top grade (Maeng Da)
Maeng Da Red Powder
The highest-alkaloid red we produce. Mature leaves from selectively-bred Maeng Da parcels, sun-dried on rack. Distinctly heavier character than a standard Sumatra Red. This is the red a distributor moves to when they need a more concentrated SKU on the shelf.

Producer note
Why MD Red hits differently
The same Maeng Da genetics behind our green line also run through the red: higher-alkaloid mother trees, propagated by the farmers over generations. When those leaves go through a full sun-drying cycle, the resulting 7-HMG concentration is the highest of any red in our catalogue.
Supply is naturally limited, as Maeng Da parcels take longer to mature and aren't over-harvested. Lead times on Maeng Da Red are typically the longest in our line; plan orders 3–4 weeks ahead of need.
For the end market
How your customers position it
Top-tier red SKU. In catalogue copy: "premium red," "strongest red," "evening flagship." Often priced at the top of a distributor's red range.
50g / 100g / 250g premium pouches; 500mg encapsulation in premium tier. Works as the anchor SKU in a "red range" bundled kit (Sumatra / Borneo / MD Red).
Quality assurance
Independent lab testing available
Each strain can be tested through an independent Indonesian laboratory for heavy metals, microbiological contamination (TPC, yeast/mould, Salmonella, E. coli), and alkaloid quantification. Ask us for the cost per lab test when placing your order.
Logistics
Export-ready from day one
We handle export documentation, phytosanitary certificate, commercial invoice and packing list. Shipments leave from Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) to Rotterdam, Hamburg, or Antwerp with typical transit of around 45 days sea, or 4–7 days air.
