How to Order Bulk Kratom: Every Step from Pre-Order to Delivery

Your order does not ship from a warehouse shelf. It is harvested, dried, milled and packed against your purchase order. Twelve steps, grouped into the four chapters your order actually moves through.

Most guides about buying kratom stop at "request a quote." Fair enough, but if you are committing to 25 kg or a full pallet, you want to know what actually happens between your transfer and the truck at your dock. Because we run cultivation, drying, milling and export as one operation, we can walk you through every stage of it. This is the exact route your order takes, from choosing strains to your broker clearing it through customs, broken into the four chapters your order moves through. If you have not chosen a supplier yet, start with our supplier checklist; if you have, this is what working with a producer looks like in practice.

Chapter 1 · 1–3 days

Your order

Two decisions and a confirmation. Everything after this happens on our side.

01
1–2 days

Decide your strains, amounts and packaging

Which strains, from the eleven in our catalogue. How much of each, with a standard MOQ of 25 kg per strain; multiple strains can be combined in one shipment in 25 kg increments, with minimums of 100 kg for air freight and 1,000 kg for sea freight. And the packaging format: airtight, heat-sealed packs of 500 grams or 1000 grams. If you are unsure what to order, tell us your market and we will advise; free samples of up to 100 grams let you approve the material first. Our vein colour reference helps if you are building a range from scratch.

Place the pre-order

Send your selection through the contact page or by email, and we reply within one working day with a quote. Pricing scales with volume, and we hold a quote firm for 14 days. Once you confirm, the order enters our production schedule. This is a genuine pre-order: we do not warehouse finished powder, so nothing is scooped from old stock. What follows is made for you.

Chapter 2 · 2–3 weeks

Production

From tree to sealed pack, at our facility in Kapuas Hulu.

Harvest the right leaves

Our farming partners harvest against your order, and the picking list depends on the strains you chose. Whites come from the youngest flush at the top of the tree, greens from mid-maturity canopy leaves, reds from mature leaves that have been photosynthesising longest. Harvesting is done by hand, tree by tree, without clear-cutting. Single-origin lots stay separate from the first basket onward; our sourcing guide explains why that matters for traceability.

04
1 day

Clean the leaves

Before anything is dried, the harvested leaf is washed and sorted. Cleaning removes dust, soil and any damaged or foreign leaf, and it is the first contamination control in the chain. This step is one of the big differences between producer material and aggregated collector leaf, which is often dried on the ground before anyone inspects it.

05
2–5 days

The drying process

Drying is where quality is made or lost, so each vein gets its own protocol. Whites and greens dry indoors in humidity-controlled rooms, away from direct sun, to protect the mitragynine profile. Reds follow the traditional protocol with sun exposure on elevated racks. Bentuangie ferments before drying. If you want the full chemistry, we wrote it up in how kratom is dried and processed.

Removing the stems

After drying, the leaf is de-stemmed and de-veined by hand. Stems and central veins carry far less alkaloid than the leaf blade, so leaving them in dilutes the powder and drags the mitragynine percentage down. It is slow, manual work, and a step re-baggers routinely skip. It is also part of why a producer COA and a collector-leaf COA rarely show the same numbers.

07
1–2 days

Milling

The cleaned, de-stemmed leaf goes to our milling line in Putussibau, where industrial grinders reduce it to a fine powder below 600 micron (30 mesh). The mills are serviced on a fixed schedule and calibrated per batch, so the particle size you approved is the particle size you get on reorder. Milling happens days before packing, not months, which is the freshness advantage of made-to-order production.

08
1–2 days

Packing into 500 g and 1000 g packs

Straight off the mill, the powder is weighed and heat-sealed into airtight packs of 500 grams or 1000 grams. Airtight sealing matters more than it sounds: powder that crosses the equator in a container is exposed to weeks of humidity swings, and a sealed pack keeps the moisture content where the drying process left it. The packs then go into export boxes holding up to 25 kg of material each, labelled with the lot number that has followed the material since harvest.

Export

The material is finished. Now the paperwork earns its keep.

09
3–5 days

The boxes travel to Jakarta

Packed and labelled, the shipment moves from our facility in Kapuas Hulu to Jakarta, where export formalities and freight both happen. Sea shipments leave from Tanjung Priok, Indonesia's main port; air shipments fly out of Jakarta as well. From this point the material itself is finished. Everything that remains is paperwork and transport.

10
~2 weeks

Export licence, the Sucofindo test and documents

Indonesian export legislation requires an export licence per shipment and one mandatory lab test, performed through Sucofindo, Indonesia's state inspection company. The test covers heavy metals, microbiology and alkaloid content, and the resulting COA travels with the shipment, as a PDF with your invoice and a hard copy in the box. Individual strains can be tested through an independent laboratory on request; ask for the cost per test when ordering. In parallel we prepare the document file your broker will need: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and, when requested, the phytosanitary certificate, all built from the same lot data so the numbers match the boxes exactly. Our guide to reading a kratom COA shows what to check when yours arrives.

Delivery

Sea or air to your port, then your broker takes it home.

11
4–7 days air · ~45 days sea

Shipment by sea or air

You choose the lane when you order. Sea freight takes around 45 days to Rotterdam, Hamburg or Antwerp and is the economical choice for planned, larger volumes. Air freight lands in 4 to 7 days and suits urgent orders or first trial volumes. We ship FOB Jakarta if you have your own freight arrangements, or DAP to your door if you prefer one price to one address.

12
1 day–1 week

Your broker clears import and customs

On arrival, your customs broker takes over: import declaration, duties and any inspection. This is where the preparation pays off. Customs reads the file before anyone opens a box, and because the invoice, packing list and COA were built from one lot record, the paperwork answers questions before they are asked. The full picture of documents, HS codes and Incoterms is in our guide to importing kratom into the EU. After clearance, the goods move to your warehouse and the order is complete.

Put together: an air order typically lands in about five to six weeks from confirmation, a sea order in about eleven. Custom particle sizes or packaging add one to two weeks to production.

Why the lead time is a feature, not a flaw

A re-seller ships tomorrow because the powder has been sitting in a warehouse for months. A producer ships in weeks because your powder was leaf on a tree when you ordered it. If your planning allows it, made to order is the fresher, more traceable deal.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bulk kratom order take from order to delivery?

Plan on roughly 4 to 5 weeks before the goods leave Indonesia: 2 to 3 weeks for harvest, drying, milling and packing, then about 2 weeks for the export licence, the Sucofindo lab test and the export documents. Add 4 to 7 days for air freight or around 45 days for sea freight. Air orders typically land in about 5 to 6 weeks, sea orders in about 11 weeks.

Why is bulk kratom made to order instead of shipped from stock?

Milled powder loses freshness in storage, so we harvest and mill against your purchase order rather than warehousing finished product. Made to order means a longer lead time than buying from a re-seller's shelf, but the powder that arrives was leaf on a tree a few weeks earlier, and every step between is documented.

What packaging does a bulk kratom order arrive in?

Powder is heat-sealed into airtight 500 gram or 1000 gram packs, which protect the material from moisture and air during transit and storage. The packs are then packed into export boxes holding up to 25 kg of material each.

What lab testing is included with a bulk kratom order?

Every shipment includes the lab test that Indonesian export legislation requires, performed through Sucofindo, Indonesia's state inspection company. It covers heavy metals, microbiology and alkaloid content, and the COA travels with the shipment. Testing individual strains through an independent laboratory is available on request at additional cost.

Who handles import and customs on a bulk kratom order?

We prepare the export side: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and, when requested, the phytosanitary certificate. On arrival, your customs broker handles the import declaration and duties. Because both sides work from the same lot data, the file usually clears without questions. See our EU import guide for the details.

What is the minimum order for bulk kratom?

Standard MOQ is 25 kg per strain, packed in export boxes of 25 kg each; multiple strains can be combined in one shipment in 25 kg increments. Freight minimums are 100 kg by air and 1,000 kg by sea. Smaller trial quantities can be arranged for new partners, and samples of up to 100 grams are free. Full terms are on the wholesale page.

That is the whole journey: twelve steps, one accountable party, and a paper trail that follows the material from the tree to your dock. If you want to see it with your own order, tell us your strains and volumes and we will come back within one working day with a quote and a timeline.
